Vintage Delft Blue Petrus Regout Maastricht Oval Dish Set of 6 | Hand-Signed Delfts Holland | Floral Urn Pattern | 1950s-70s

A lovely 6-piece set of vintage Dutch delftware in the classic blue-and-white floral urn pattern, made by Petrus Regout & Co. of Maastricht, Holland. The set includes two mid-size oval platters and four small oval dishes, each hand-decorated with the traditional bouquet-in-urn motif bordered by scrolling florals — a design instantly recognizable as Delft blue.

Backstamped with the maker's reclining sphinx trademark, "Petrus Regout Maastricht, Made in Holland," and the hand-signed "Delfts" script, dating this set to circa 1950s–1970s. Made in Holland for the export market.

Curved oval dishes like these were traditionally used as a relish or hors d'oeuvre set — the two larger platters for olives, pickles, or canapés, and the four smaller dishes as individual servers for nuts, mints, or condiments at each place setting. They're just as lovely today as a trinket dish, soap dish, or simply displayed as decorative wall or shelf pieces.
