Signed Zimbabwe Carved Shona Stone Bird

This is an authentic Zimbabwe bird sculpture done in Shona Stone and signed by carver, Ed Seba.  The stone bird is 13 inches (33cm) long, 7 inches (18cm) wide, and 9 inches (23cm) tall.  The Shona stone is abundant in Zimbabwe and used extensively in sculpting traditional figures and animals.  

This particular stone is a polished deep green colour. The carving is smooth and has deep lines and strong edges to depict the shape and nature of the bird.  

In very good condition.  There is one nick in the edge along the bird's bill that does not take away from the quality or presentation of this carving.
