RARE 1930s Meissen Blue Onion ROUND PLATTER Scalloped Fluted Rim

RARE 1930s Meissen 10 3/4 inch ROUND PLATTER with scalloped and fluted rim. 

The plate measures 10 3/4 inches (27.5cm) in diameter and the rim curves up to 1 5/8 inch (4.25cm) high.

This platter is porcelain and unique in that it has a 2 inch (5cm) rim that is both scalloped and fluted.

The platter is manufactured in Germany by Meissen and bears the mark is two swords (1934) on the back and on the front in the trunk of the bamboo tree.

The platter is traditional hand painted Blue Onion pattern also known as Zwiebelmuster in light and dark blue.

The Dish has been cabinet kept.  Excellent condition.  No scratches at all, no chips, no cracks, no crazing, no repairs.
