This is an impressive Dorothy Vernon pattern silver plated carving trio set in the original velvet lined box.
This pattern was manufactured by McGlashan-Clarke Co. and sold by Eaton's under the brand name Haddon Plate in the 1960s-70s.
Dorothy Vernon was one of the heirs of Haddon Hall in England.
The carving knife is 14 inches (35.5cm) long and the blade is marked Firth Stainless and it is very sharp.
The fork is 11 inches (28cm) long. The sharpening steel 13 inches (33cm) long.
Each utensil has a four point guard that is also a stand.
The handles are substantial in this pattern and are an excellent choice for an event or wedding. They are NOT monogrammed.
