This is a 2 piece cream soup bowl and coupe side or underplate set in the BLUE ONION pattern by Hutschenreuther Selb, Bavaria, Germany.

The Blue Onion cream soup bowl is double handled and measures 4 3/8 inches (11cm) across the bowl and stands 2 inches (5cm) high. 

The saucer or underplate is unlike a tea cup saucer with a well.  This underplate/saucer has no well. 

The saucer measures 6 1/2 inches (16.5cm) across and it is coupe shaped having a sharp but shallow rise at the rim. 

The plate is easily used as a 6 1/2 inch side plate as well as the saucer/underplate for the two handled cream soup bowl. 

The back stamp is Hutschenreuther Selb from Bavaria, Germany.  The dishes are believed to have been manufactured in the 1970s - 1980s.  

The soup bowl and the side plate have been seldom used, if at all.

The 2 piece dish sets are in EXCELLENT condition.  No chips, no cracks, no crazing, no repairs.
