As New Royal Albert VAL D'OR Covered CASSEROLE / Vegetable Dish

This is a Royal Albert VAL D'OR covered casserole / vegetable dish. 

This covered dish has a CLASSIC look with ribbed detail and a gold trim. This beautiful Montrose shape bowl has gold trim on the handles, the footed base, and the top rim.

The bowl is 11 1/2 inches (29cm) in diameter across the handles, 9 inches (23cm) in diameter across the bowl, and 5 1/2 inches (14cm) high to the top of the lid. 

The casserole / vegetable dish appears as new and seldom used, if at all.  All the gold is completely intact and the the finish is glossy.  This bowl was purchased new in the 1970s. 

The Val D'Or pattern was introduced by Royal Albert in 1960 and is now discontinued.  Val D'or is one of the favourites of all the Royal Albert patterns.    The pattern carries the name of a beautiful Val d'Or Valley near Montreal, Canada. 

This covered casserole is in excellent condition. All gold is intact.  No wear, no chips, no cracks, no scratches, no repairs.
