ART QUILT Wall Hanging Wool & Flannel HEARTS & FLOWERS Applique

This beautiful handmade Textile ART QUILTED wall hanging is made using wool applique hearts, stars, and layered flowers with embroidery accents.

The soft textured wool fabric appliques create large and small country style hearts and amazing layered whimsical flowers on a solid coloured flannel background.

This quilt wall hanging was done by G. Ballard, a highly skilled and seasoned quilter from BC, Canada.

The quilted wall hanging measures 50 inches (127cm) wide and 64 inches (162.5cm) long and has a rod sleeve at the top for hanging.

The foundation of the quilt was assembled and then professionally quilted on a Long Arm machine prior to applying the appliques.

The applique flowers are a muted blue, green, grey, cream, and wine and layered to create 12 different whimsical flower clusters.  The top stitch and embroidery completes the design.  The cottage style applique hearts and stars are a muted wine red and blue and carefully detailed with embroidery top stitch on 6 squares. 

The wall hanging is NEW.  In excellent condition with no marks or wear at all.
