This is a RARE signed antique Rauenstein Strawflower TEAPOT c.1850-1897 made in Thuringia, Germany.

This rare teapot is the classic blue strawflower pattern on white ribbed porcelain. 

The teapot body measures 6 inches (15.25cm) in diameter and it is 8 5/8 inches (22cm) from spout to handle, and measures 6 inches (15.25cm) tall.

This teapot is signed with the Rauenstein mark used from 1850 - 1897. (127 - 174 yrs old).

This teapot has one tiny stain on the edge of the uppermost rim (shown in photo) where the porcelain has a 3mm abrasion. 

The teapot is in excellent condition. No cracks, one tiny abrasion, no chips, no repairs.
