Antique COPELAND 1857-1867 Polychrome Transferware Compote with Purple Flower

This is an antique 1857-1867 Polychrome transferware Copeland "B" compote is beautifully decorated with flowers and has a scalloped rim and base. Copeland back stamp "Copeland B" and "F94" corresponds with the years 1857 - 1867.  This compote is a polychrome transferware in the aesthetic movement style and features different single flower images.  The dish is beautifully decorated on the top, on the pedestal, and even underneath the plate with four different flower or plant images.  The gold trim is worn along 1/4 of the top rim and fully intact around 3/4 of the upper rim and along the edge of the base.  The compote is 8 1/2 inches (22 cm) and 4 inches (10 cm) high.  The finish is glossy and the colours are crisp.  The compote is in excellent condition with no chips, no cracks, no crazing, and no repairs.
