1950 Sherman Blue Caribbean Sea Brooch and Clip On Earring Set in Original Box

This is a 3 piece 1950 Sherman brooch and clip on earring set in original box. The colour is interesting in that it is blue and is mostly closely matched to Caribbean Sea in the Sherman colour chart. Sherman jewelry was produced in Quebec, Canada.

Both the brooch and the clip on earrings have the Sherman backstamp.

The clip on earrings are a starburst of marquis cut stones and a raised cluster of round cut crystals in the center. 

The brooch is a downward curve accented with a similar setting as the earrings at each end.  A row of raised round cut crystals appear at the point of the marquis crystals creating a nicely layered design.

The earrings and backs are smaller than average and measure 7/8 inch (2.25cm) in diameter.  The brooch measures 2 inches (5cm)across and 1 1/2 inches (3.75cm) high.

The set comes in their original hinge lidded box with a black damask fabric cover. One owner and cabinet kept.

This set, including the box, is in excellent condition with no marks, no missing stones, no damage, and no repairs.
