This is a 1950s Lefton Bluebird anthropomorphic egg cup and a ESD Lefton bowl made in Japan.

The egg cup is stamped 'Japan'.  The bowl has the Lefton 'ESD Japan hand painted' Logo and '7025' stamp on the underside.

The egg cup measures 3 inches (7.75cm) tall and the bowl measures 6 1/2 inches (16.75cm) in diameter.

The Lefton Bluebird ceramics were popular and a darling in homes and kitchens in the 1950s - 1970s.

The egg cup has vibrant colours and light crazing as seen in photos.

The bowl has vibrant colours and is crazed across the bowl with one spot (1mm) where the glaze is chipped in the center of the bowl.

The bowl is NOT FOOD SAFE due to the crazing and small chip.

Both Lefton pieces are in good vintage condition.
