1940 Art Deco Cake Servers Bakelite Handles

1940 Solingen art deco cake servers and 6 forks all with two tone Bakelite handles.

This set consists of 6 forks, a cake cutting Knife, and a cake server that has been broken and poorly repaired. 

This 1940s art deco set is stunning in black and yellow bakelite.  The forks are completely intact with no damage or repairs.

The wide cake knife has an engraved design of whimsical heart and scrolls and the handle is completely intact with no loose joints.

The v-shaped cake lifter has unfortunately been broken and repaired.  The handle is intact, however, the metal has been compressed in some way and remains loose.

The 8 piece set comes in the original display case with fabric lining covering the formed holders.  The case is in very good condition and has to outside latches.  

Seven of the 8 pieces are an excellent vintage quality and has beautiful art deco handle in yellow and black.

Six forks and 1 cake knife with Bakelite handles are in excellent condition.  The cake lifter has been broken, repaired, and remains loose.
