This is a 1940s Naughty Girl Nodder ceramic ashtray is a woman, with moving legs and fan, laying in a bathtub (ashtray).
This is a ceramic tobacciana novelty made by Novelty Co. of Japan in the 1940s for the North American market. The legs and fan are weighted in order to move back and forth when a cigarette is put out or if they are touched.
This is a typical knick knack from the 1940s Pin-up girl and smoking era.
The tub measures 5 inches (12.75cm) long and 2 3/4 inches (6.5cm) wide.
Very good condition with all parts intact.
