1902-1914 ROYAL DOULTON Lambeth Jardinaire (Planter) Signed PP Helena Pennett

This is an antique 1902-1914 Royal Doulton Lambeth Jardinaire (Planter) Signed "PP" (Helena Pennett).

This Jardinaire (planter) has a impressed backstamp DOULTON SLATERS PATENT and the Doulton lion on a crown with 'England" impressed below.  The jardinaire planter, I believe, is a sycamore leaf pattern.  The colours are a muted green and brown and the upper rim is cobalt with a distinct fluted rim.  There is a second band of cobalt blue near the bottom with an embossed design and raised dot borders. 

The jardinaire is 9 inches (23cms) in diameter and 7 inches (18cm) tall.

This signed 1902-1914 antique planter has two chips.  One chip is on the very bottom of the base and the second chip is just under one of the flutes at the rim.  Both chips are on the same side of the vessel and they are shown clearly in the photos. 

The jardinaire planter is in good antique condition with two small chips. There are no cracks, no crazing, no repairs.  The colours are crisp and the raised art is exquisite.
