Vintage MOORCROFT 6 1/2 inch Lidded Bowl with IRISES c.1928 - 1949

Vintage MOORCROFT 6 1/2 inch Lidded Bowl with Irises c.1928 - 1949. This Moorcroft bowl is 6 1/2 inch in diameter and is 4 inches high. The colours are vibrant and transition from cobalt to green. The pattern on the lid are beautiful richly coloured and clay slip irises. Potter to H.M. the Queen 1928 - 1949, the lid is stamped "Moorcroft" and the bowl is stamped "Moorcroft" and "Made in England". The condition is very good with crazing visible on the underside of the lid and bottom and less visible in the richly coloured surfaces. This bowl and lid have no chips, no cracks and no repairs.
