This is a vintage chainmail wristlet purse hand crafted in Germany. This purse is made of chainmail bound by a metal coil to the silver coloured kiss clasp frame. The purse measures 2 1/2 inches wide and 4 inches long from clasp to end of fringe. The purse's frame appears to be goldtone in the photos; however, the frame is silver with "made in Germany" stamp and no markings regarding silver content. The wristlet or coin purse frame is beautifully detailed and in very good condition with no holes and no dropped chain links. Vintage is 1930's.
