Two Antique Scottish Thistle Shaped Glasses w. Etched Thistle Pattern

Two rare antique Scottish thistle shaped claret wine glasses with etched thistle pattern on the bowl.

These two crystal glasses are 3 inch (7.75 cm) in diameter and 4 7/8 inches (12.5 cm) tall.

The glasses are unsigned, however, they are believed to be pre-Edinburgh Crystal Co.

The thistle pattern on the glasses are not listed in the Edinburgh patterns, but most likely produced prior to the company becoming Edinburgh Crystal.

The owner of the glasses believes the pair of cut crystal glasses were passed down through generations and likely dated 1880s. 

The pair are in excellent condition.  No chips, no cracks, no repairs.
