These are a RARE 4 piece set of coffee mugs / cups in VAL D'OR by Royal Albert. Not your average Royal Albert, this pattern is stunning and features the Montrose contours and just enough gold to accent the ribbed detail along the edges.
The name was means "valley of gold" and was inspired by a gold find in Quebec, Canada in 1923. This set was first introduced in 1960 and is now discontinued.
The 4 mugs appear as new and are in excellent condition with no cracks, no chips, no crazing, no repairs.
