The porcelain cachepot or vase is vintage 1995 and manufactured in United Kingdom.

The Holly and The Ivy pattern was created by artist Anwyl Cooper-Willis.

The vase has the words "The holly and the ivy when they are both full grown" and "Of all the trees that are in the wood the holly bears the crown" written just under the rim.

The vase is 6 3/4 inches (17 cm) in diameter and 6 3/4 inches (17 cm) high. 

Portmeirion porcelain pieces are oven to table, dishwasher safe, and freezer safe.

The Portmeirion The Holly and The Ivy pattern makes a sophisticated Christmas pattern.
