Original stamp and watercolour folk art by FRANCISCAN MISSIONS of Mary. In French, the Franciscaines Missionnaires de Marie created pieces of art incorporating watercolour, ink, and Canadian and American Stamps.
This framed art is a depiction of two children kneeling in prayer in the snow before a outdoor alter. The stamps are cut out and applied to become interesting patterns on the children's clothing. In this beautifully preserved work of art, a green US Postage stamp becomes a child's sweater and a Queen Elizabeth II one cent stamp becomes the wooden post.
The picture measures 5 5/8 wide and 7 3/4 inches high. This piece is in perfect condition with the original backing on the frame. No marks, no stains, no damage, no repairs.
